Structures...Term 2

Welcome to 'The Project'

  1. Sounds like an exciting term of learning ahead.

How appropriate Structures is as our concept this term with the building project underway. Certainly has been a great deal of "organisation of many parts" over the holidays - will look quite different in the admin and library area this term. Bet you would have enjoyed seeing the crane lift, move and rotate Mr Beckham's garage today. That sure required "organisation of many parts"

  3. Bay com are looking for a new builder, Mrs Smallbone. You looked at home with those Powertools. Mmmm I guess a power tool is made up of many parts and those parts need to work in a certain way for it to be an excellent tool. By Mr Macmillan.

  4. It sounds fun, but scarily like the picture books!!!! Can we make little bits of furniture and put them in our model houses?? One of us might turn out to be a famous interior designer one day, and when they win some big fancy award, then they will say " I would like to thank my Year 5/6 teacher, Mrs Smallbone, for giving us a project to build a house, and letting us decorate the inside of it! And I am not thanking Mum or Dad cause they didn't do anything."
