Water Colour Painting

Today we started to learn how to use our water colour paints. On the Endeavour this was how Joseph Banks and others on board the ship recorded what the expedition saw. No cameras in those days!

Lost and Found

Today in class we first read the book Lost and Found by Oliver Jeffers, then we watched the animated version which Mrs Smallbone had found on The Literacy Shed. What a great story! We are busy writing stories to explain how the penguin got to the small boys house

Ice Cream Making

An exciting day today, Ice cream making in Room One. We had several methods, fancy electric machines, hand churns, plastic bags and simple electric churns. We made two recipes, but all contained a delicious amount of sugar, milk and cream...and LOTS of toppings and extras to make it all extra special. Thank you again to all our wonderful parents who helped - couldn't have done it without you!!!
