Pasta Making

Pasta was invented by the Ancient Romans and today was our chance to try our hand at making some. Mrs Parry was our expert with lots of other great parent helpers, thank you!

So much fun! I think everyone is off to buy a pasta machine!

Hobo Stoves

Each week at St Mary's we have Goldentime. This is a fun time that everyone in the class chooses. It is a reward for great behaviour and following the Golden Rules all week. This week Mrs Smallbone let us have an extended Goldentime so we made Hobo Stoves. They were great!! We cooked pikelets, melted chocolate, marshmallows, fish fingers, french toast...it was a very extensive list.

Today in the morning we P.A.T listening test we had to listen a lot obviously. After that we did a little bit of reading and then it was morning tea time. After morning tea we went to assembly and the principal gave away lots of awards after we did some more reading and then it was lunch time. On Fridays after lunch we have golden time which is when the class votes on something fun to do and we do the one which got the most votes. Golden time is always fun for the people who have been good. You can lose golden time if you have bad behavior but you can also earn it back if you are good enough. After golden time we had to go to a house meeting to learn the new house chants.
